NO SET WITHOUT A PLAN.

SETS TO SITES

I got my start in film and TV art departments, keeping things running so the builders could build. I was surrounded by designers who still hand-drafted and wrote everything by hand, and that stuck with me more than I expected — it's part of how I still approach building a world, whether that's a dessert atlas, a color palette tool, or a client's WordPress theme.

Dev–Design Harmony

Drawing from my time in art departments in TV & Film, I translate Figma files, moodboards, and story ideas into responsive interfaces that stay faithful to the design while respecting the realities of the build.

Semantic HTML & CSS

Clean, accessible layouts with modular CSS, purposeful animation, and micro-interactions that make interfaces feel alive — built to scale with the project.

WordPress & React

I build across the stack and connect the pieces into coherent ecosystems. Custom WordPress themes with Custom Post Types and MU-plugins and React apps.

AI-Augmented Development

I build with AI as a collaborator, not a crutch. Lately I have been integrating the Claude API into production apps and using AI tooling to ship faster without sacrificing judgment or craft.

PROD: MOON CHARM TAKE: 01

Moon Charm

A custom WordPress theme built for a non-technical client, with the entire visual identity and product catalog editable from the admin — no code required after handoff.

Design direction — built off the Web Design Museum's Sanrio.com (2000) archive, a deliberate departure from the oversaturated Y2K desktop-OS look

  • 1 9 Customizer panels — colors, curated font pairings, backgrounds, and two independent image-upload libraries for the site's animated charm systems.
  • 2 Custom post type + ACF — artwork entries with medium, description, price, and a for-sale toggle, managed like any normal WordPress post.
  • 3–4 Conditional Shop Logic — the shop page automatically switches between a "coming soon" state and a live grid based on what's been marked for sale. Drag to compare both states. .

Production-grade animation — the falling-charm system in the hero above runs with concurrency caps, tab-visibility pausing, and animation-failure fallbacks.

Universo da Doçura

Custom WordPress app built from the theme layer up — a dessert atlas spanning every documented culture.

  • 1 Custom Post Types — dessert entries structured with their own fields, not pages jammed into a template.
  • 2 ACF field groups — region, ingredients, history, and imagery managed per-entry by a non-technical editor.
  • 3MU-plugins + WP_Query — custom query logic powering filtering and the Swiper-based atlas browser.
  • 4AI-assisted illustration pipeline — ligne claire dessert art generated through iterative Gemini and Claude prompting, one piece per entry.
  • 5Character system — 54 original Pastry Professor vinyl-toy artisans, one per dessert tradition.

The Story in Progress

Front-End & WordPress developer based in Brooklyn, NY

The sets are digital now, but the instincts remain. I still frame every page with intention. From a custom WordPress dessert atlas with CPTs, MU-plugins, and Swiper sliders to React apps that explore ritual and memory, I'm building a connected ecosystem of projects that reflect where I've been and where I'm headed as a developer.

I'm especially interested in roles where I can own the front-end experience, collaborate closely with designers, and keep pushing my WordPress and React skills on real products that care about both story and craft.
